About The Director :

“ I first came to the Playcenter in 1992 as a volunteer. In 1993, I was hired as a full time teacher. A few years later I was given the opportunity to become a part owner, and within 5 years after that I became the sole owner and purchased my own building. At that time I had recently completed a course in Business / Micro- Computer Operator and had no children of my own. I am now married and a mother of two (a boy and a girl), one enrolled full time in the toddler program and the other one in the after school program. In December of 2006, I received my certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education. I have my Workplace Standard First Aid With CPR “C”, and am a member of Early Childhood Care & Education NB. I work on a team with James Arsenault, Regional Coordinator from Dept. of Social Development, as well as 19 other daycare operators whose practice is to provide continuous quality improvement. Our goal is to exceed the standards required for provincial licensing approval.” -Michelle Walling – Owner/Operator
